This huge drift formed overnight during the Blizzard of 2011 in Olin, Iowa. In order for the residents to get outside, they have to open the garage door. Both of the doors used to enter the house are covered halfway or more with snow. The couple that lives in the house are safe and have what they need. The husband said he will tackle the drift with his snowblower. They also have neighbors that will help as well.

Glad you put that they are safe inside and have what they need :) Seeing some pictures make me wonder how the people are doing inside the buildings, especially elderly and children.
