On the way home from railfanning, spotted two Bald Eagles perched in trees along US 151 heading toward the Amanas near the Iowa River Basin. This has become an attraction in this area, because I'd seen three other cars pull off to the side along with me to take photos of these magnificent birds.

Enjoy the trio pics; this is why I love Iowa wintertime.
