There are large numbers of bald eagles in and around Cedar Rapids. The best spot to see them is near the roller dam where they are very active. You can see them fishing there. You can also see them in the trees near the 8th ave and 16th ave bridges, and along Otis Rd. I have seen more this year when the previous several years.
