In Garrison, Iowa the Old Creamery building is finally coming down. The building was first used for canning by the Iowa Canning Company, and the Green Giant Company, then in 1971 the building was home to the Old Creamery Theatre, thriving as the main attraction for the town until it closed twenty years later and the building sat broken down and desolate. Here Phil Barkdoll, of Vinton is tearing down the south end of the remains, while the north section will be burned by the Garrison Fire Department.
