Two car collision at Waverly, IA

This two-car accident occurred between approximately 12:45 and 1:00 pm Wednesday, December 15th at the intersection of Easton Avenue and Hwy 218 just south of Waverly. I did not witness the accident; and do not know who was involved in the accident or injuries sustained. I learned about it about 15 minutes after we'd turned off of 218 onto Easton Avenue. Northbound traffic on 218 came to a stop for at least 30 minutes. These photographs were taken about one-and-one-half hours after the crash, as officers were seen putting two bucket seats into the gray minivan. The white vehicle apparently came to a stop facing Janesville on the Hwy 218's inside northbound lane at Easton Avenue. The gray minivan was in the ditch on the southeast corner of the same intersection. My thoughts and prayers go out to the persons involved and their families.
