The DOT traffic cameras show that there was no snow in Cedar Rapids or Iowa City / Coralville at 2:30 pm, but heavy snow was falling in Tipton at that time. The snow started to fall shortly after 2:00 pm, and by 2:15 pm the residential roads were completely covered.
