Iowa welcomes home a Hero!

SSgt Salvatore Giunta, recipient of the Medal of Honor, was given a warm Iowa welcome home with a parade in Hiawatha on November 23, 2010. With a happy grin on his face, SSgt. Giunta, along with his wife, waved to the crowd as they rode on the Hiawatha firetruck at the head of the parade. This parade could truly be called a parade of heroes, as it was made up of veterans, police and fire departments and EMS responders. God bless them all!
