My husband just completed training at Vance. They are required to do "cross country" flights for the students as training and for the IP's to keep their hours in line for regulations. I am so impressed at the precision and timing! Only our AF!!!

I'm in the Air Force and work on planes so i can tell you that every flyover that we do is flown within a training mission. The expense of the flyover is already set aside in the budget for pilot training. So stop complaining and GO HAWKS!!!!!

My son and three friends, making the trip from Ohio, were at the game and enjoyed the Buckeyes' victory. But what did he want to talk about? The flyover!!! Awesome!

Who cares what it cost....the cost of those flights doesn't even compare to the what a family loses if a loved one dies serving. Those men and women are serving this country and giving you the freedom to complain about something like this!

All Flyovers are conducted in part with a training mission that the pilots fly. The pilots go and fly the training mission, then do the flyover on the return to base or flyover then train.T-38s are one of the most economical fuel based planes in USAF

I was in the west stands and it was awesome! I loved that they introduced the pilots at halftime and most of them had Iowa t-shirts on. It was really cool.
