Fall color was becoming far less widespread by Saturday morning, October 30, 2010 seen here at Bowman Woods Park in Cedar Rapids. Photo 1 shows a group of brilliant Sugar Maples (right). Photo 2 includes a European Larch (center), an imported conifer that loses its needles in autumn (deciduous).
