The evening of September 5th a thunder storm moved through eastern Iowa. Robins was in the direct path of dozens of lightning strikes.

we lost our power during this storm near center point...also, where are the moderators? how did the "fake and gay" comment pass 'inspection'?

hey i'm glad some of you liked this picture! This stike was alittle too close for comfort but it turned out great! I used a tripod with my Nikon D300s 50mm f/1.8, shutter speed set at 15 sec, ISO 1.0. The other pic is a plane landing at the airport.
