This blazing sunset in northeast Cedar Rapids was part of an evening which featured a little bit of everything: Fast moving low clouds, rain, lightning, rainbows, stunning sunsets and finally a clear sky with the planet Venus shining brightly above the horizon. Note the "mock sun" in the center of this picture--the real sun had already set. Thursday, September 2, 2010.
