Today, I took the TV-9 Storm Team Weather Academy to the Regis Middle School in Cedar Rapids to talk to 150 6th graders.  We talked about what causes the air to move around the Earth, high and low pressure, what to do in the event of severe weather and discussed what it takes to become a meteorologist.  They were a very polite audience and had some great questions.

Thanks to Mrs. Schultz for the invite!
