PBS to Host Debates in Iowa

DES MOINES (AP) - AARP and Iowa Public Television will
sponsor two presidential candidate forums this fall, focusing on
health care and financial security.

The first forum is scheduled for Sept. 20 in Davenport, and will feature candidates for the Democratic presidential nomination. The second forum, featuring Republican candidates, is scheduled for Oct. 25 in Sioux City.

PBS correspondent Judy Woodruff will moderate the forums, which will be broadcast on PBS stations across the country.
