AP Football a Key Ingredient to Recovery

By John Campbell, TV9 Sports

Parkersburg-A deadly June tornado destroyed much of Parkersburg including the high school and football stadium. It did not destroy the town's love of Falcon football and a key part of the city's psyche will be restored when AP returns to the football field this fall.

Hall of Fame coach Ed Thomas and his players agree, that first home game will be something else.

This Friday they open on the road at Dike-New Hartford. September 5th they host West Marshall at the Sacred Acre. It is then that all of Parkersburg will stop to watch and realize that things are coming back together.
