CEDAR RAPIDS -- Zach Johnson was back in his hometown today to talk to children involved in his Kids on Course program. Johnson is taking another week off to let his body and mind heal before he hosts his Foundation Classic on Monday at Elmcrest Country Club. Then itís off to the John Deere Classic.
ď[My golf game] was in dire need of a break,Ē he said. ďIt feels good. That may be surprising based on the results Iíve had lately, but it feels good.
ďIím burnt out, Iím a little tired. I know that my body needs a rest. I like where I am. Fundamentally, everythingís pretty sound. Mentally, I need a break. Itís just a matter of going out there and executing after the break.Ē
