NORTH LIBERTY -- Of the 80 players divided between 8 teams at the Prime Time League this summer, only one is still in high school.

Iowa City Regina’s Drew Cook is playing in the PTL for the second year. He scored 9 points in week 1, and the Iowa football recruit said playing with college players has gone a long way toward preparing him for his final year of high school basketball.

“Whenever you can play with Hawkeyes and Panthers, that’s just exciting,” he said. “When you have a chance to compete with them and learn the game, it’s really great. One of the things that Prime Time does is it helps me pick up the speed of the game. It’s different than in high school. So when I play in high school games, I’m more prepared and I can play better.”
