Two Tornadoes Touch Down Monday

IOWA - The National Weather Service has confirmed that two tornadoes came out of storms in eastern Iowa Monday. One was in northwest of Urbana and the other was in Traer. The Traer one was an EF-2 with 120 mph winds. The Urbana one was an EF-1 tornado with 110 mph winds.

Another two tornadoes touch down in Adair and Madison counties rated as an EF-1, which means winds ranged between 65 and 85 mph. Officials will continue to investigate other reports of tornadoes in the days ahead.
