Two Injured in Linn County Motorcycle Crash

LINN COUNTY, Iowa - Two people are recovering after motorcycle crash in rural Linn County. The Linn County Sherriff’s Office says it happened around 5:30 P.M. on Saturday night near the intersection of County Home Road and Quaker Lane.

Officials say the driver, a 51-year-old man, lost control of his motorcycle and crashed into a ditch. Both he and a 50-year-old female passenger suffered non-life threatening injuries. The driver was airlifted to Saint Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids. His passenger was taken to the hospital by ambulance.

Witnesses to Saturday’s crash say the driver was not wearing a helmet.
