FAYETTE COUNTY, Iowa - Two people were injured after a Friday morning motorcycle crash in Fayette County. The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office says the crash happened on Bush Road just west of B Avenue at 10:30 A.M. Officials say 66-year-old Rex Manson was driving west on Bush Road when he left the road and entered the north ditch, landing the motorcycle on its side.

Both Manson and his passenger, Angela Mason were both injured in the crash. Angela Mason was airlifted from the scene for her injuries. Rex Mason was taken to a hospital in West Union with non-life threatening injuries.

The Fayette County sheriff’s office says the motorcycle is a total loss. Rex Mason was cited for failure to maintain control.
