CEDAR FALLS - Three people were hurt in a two vehicle crash in Cedar Falls. The Iowa State Patrol says the two vehicles collided at the intersection of Highway 218 and Cedar Wapsie Road around 7:30 on Friday night.

A vehicle driven by 65-year-old Dealda Diemer of Denver was driving East on Cedar Wapsie Road. She was taken to Allen Hospital in Waterloo with injuries.

The Iowa State Patrol says she didn’t yield when turning North onto the Highway and collided with another car containing a woman and a toddler. Both the woman in the car, 59-year-old Virginia Lovik, and her passenger, 2-year-old Benson Lovik were taken to Allen Hospital in Waterloo with injuries.

Cedar Falls Police, the Black Hawk County Sheriff’s Office and Janesville Police and Fire Departments assisted with the crash.
