Public Asked to Help Identify Missouri River Body

Associated Press

DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) — Authorities in southwest Iowa are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man whose body was pulled from the Missouri River on July 1.

The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation and the Mills County Sheriff’s office say the body was located near Lincoln’s Landing campground near the Plattsmouth Bridge in southern Mills County.

The body has a Playboy bunny tattoo on the upper left part of the chest and a monochromatic tattoo of two unclothed Asian women with a dragon in the background located on the upper left arm. A tribal tattoo is on the right shin. The clothing is described as blue denim shorts, a brown belt and black Ocean Pacific shoes.

Anyone recognizing the individual is asked to call the Mills County sheriff or the DCI.
