DELAWARE COUNTY — Firefighters from four departments responded to a fire that destroyed a home south of Manchester Thursday night.

Manchester Fire Chief Mike Ryan says the call came in just after 9 p.m. Thursday for a fire at the home in the 2400 block of 167th Avenue.

Ryan says the only person home at the time was working outside when she noticed the fire and called for help. No one was hurt in the fire but the home is a total loss.

Ryan says the fire does not appear suspicious but investigators had not pinpointed the cause.
