ARLINGTON, Iowa — Two people face charges for three burglaries in mid-July in Fayette County.
Thursday sheriff’s deputies arrested 25-year-old Samuel Oberbreckling, of Oelwein, and 23-year-old Patrick Farrell, of Strawberry Point.
The pair are accused of breaking into three homes on South Street in Arlington early in the morning of July 12. Investigators say thousands of dollars in toll, equipment and personal items were taken.
A release from the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office says each faces one count of Second Degree Burglary, a Class C felony, and two counts of Third Degree Burglary, a Class D felony.
A judge set the bond for Oberbreckling and Farrell at $20,000. Both face up to 20 years in prison.
Deputies said they were working to recover some of the stolen property.
