NORTH LIBERTY — A North Liberty man faces up to 25 years in prison for his alleged role in a series of vehicle burglaries.
According to the North Liberty Police Department, between July 20 and Aug. 2, 18-year-old Deandre R. Davis — along with two juvenile codefendants not named in the criminal complaint — committed a series of vehicle burglaries in the city.
Police said Davis and his accomplices stole electronics, firearms and other valuables during their alleged crime spree. The suspects then sold or traded the stolen items, police said.
Davis faces one count of ongoing criminal conduct, a Class B felony. Class B felonies are punishable by up to 25 years in prison.
