BLOOMFIELD, Iowa (AP) — Nine men from southern Iowa have been accused of sex crimes involving children.
The Ottumwa Courier reports search and arrest warrants were issued Wednesday for the men. They were later sent to the Davis County Jail.
The men, from various areas of southern Iowa, face multiple charges. They include sexual exploitation of a minor and lascivious acts with a child.
The Bloomfield Police Department says it received allegations of sexual exploitation about a month ago and started an investigation. Additional information about the case has not been released.
