CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — Police arrested two people in connection with a burglary at two offices on Sierra Court NE on January 4.

Officers responded to the offices of Merrill Lynch and Iowa Farmer Today early that morning and found suspects did $15,000 worth of damage and stole electronics.

A few days later, law enforcement released surveillance images from the robbery, showing those believed to be responsible.

Thursday authorities announced the arrest of 28-year olds Jeffrey Harris, of Palo, and Michael Greene, of Cedar Rapids. A release from Public Safety spokesperson Greg Buelow said the police department arrested the pair after receiving test results from the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation lab in Ankeny.

Both Harris and Greene are charged with two counts of Third Degree Burglary, First Degree Criminal Mischief and First Degree Theft.

Buelow said investigators received and followed up on several tips provided through Linn County Crime Stoppers.
