By Max Walker, Digital Editor

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Cedar Rapids police responded to the Kohls at 361 Collins Road NE before 6 p.m. Thursday. Officers said they received a report of a suspicious package. Pictures taken by a KCRG-TV9 photographer at the scene show that the Linn County Sheriff’s Office was also responding to the scene. Authorites on the scene used a robot to approach and scan the suspicious object. They told TV-9 there were certain objects inside they could not identify and planned to move the package to the middle of the parking lot and detonate a small charge to neutralize it.
