One Injured in Four Vehicle Crash

LINN COUNTY, Iowa - A crash involving four vehicles sent one woman to the hospital Saturday afternoon. The crash happened Saturday afternoon around 4:30 on a gravel road just south of Coggon.

The Linn County Sheriff’s Office was first called out to an area near the intersection of Pool Road and Lennox Lane. Two vehicles collided, causing two others to hit each other as well.

A passenger in one of the cars in the first crash, 25-year-old Kelley Mason of North Liberty, was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. No one in the other crash was hurt.

The incident is still under investigation.

The Linn County Sheriff’s Office says heavy dust from the gravel road did not contribute to the crash. The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Coggon Fire Department, Prairieburg Fire Department and Manchester Ambulance.
