CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - NBA basketball is coming to Cedar Rapids for the first time in more than a decade. The U.S. Cellular Center and the Minnesota Timberwolves announced an exhibition game will played this fall.
This is the Timberwolves third trip to Iowa, the latest trip was back in 2002. The Timberwolves will play the Milwaukee Bucks on October 17 at 7:00 P.M. It will be the first NBA game played on the U.S. Cellular Center’s new basketball floor.
Tickets for the game go on sale this Friday at 10:00 A.M. Prices for tickets range from $13.50 to $200.
A news conference featuring Timberwolves Senior Vice President Ryan Tanke will be held this morning at noon at the Double Tree by Hilton Convention Complex.
