Marshals arrest fugitive in Cedar Rapids

U.S. Marshals nabbed a man wanted on multiple escape charges in Cedar Rapids on Wednesday.

According to the U.S. Marshals’ Office, members of the Northern Iowa Fugitive Task Force were doing an interview for an unrelated investigation at a home in the 1200 block of 12th Street NE in Cedar Rapids when 22-year-old Marvin Hicks tried to jump out of a window at the back of the residence.

With help from the Cedar Rapids Police Department, task force members were able to arrest Hicks and take him to the Linn County Jail.
