MAQUOKETA, Iowa (AP) — A 46-year-old eastern Iowa woman has been accused of embezzling about $30,000 from her employer.
The Quad-City Times says Theresa Ehlers, of Maquoketa, is charged with theft. Police say Ehlers took the money from the daily deposit when she was managing a convenience store gas station in Maquoketa.
Ehlers has bonded out of jail. She didn’t immediately return a call Thursday from The Associated Press.
