By Rachel Begle, KCRG-TV9

WATERLOO, Iowa — Waterloo Police say one man is in serious condition after he was dropped off at Allen Hospital following a stabbing Sunday night. Police say the man arrived at the hospital around 10 p.m.

Officers said the man had been stabbed in the stomach, but were still uncertain exactly where the stabbing happened. Police did say crews searched the area of East Fourth Street near Sullivan Park for evidence of the stabbing.

Officers also noted that a car was towed and a person was arrested at Allen Hospital around the same time the stabbing victim occurred. Police say this arrest was not connected to the stabbing.
