Two Iowa Lottery Managers No Longer With Organization

DES MOINES, Iowa - Two members of the Iowa Lottery’s management team are no longer with the state-run enterprise, officials said Tuesday.
Mary Neubauer, the lottery’s vice president for external relations, confirmed that the lottery’s general counsel Molly Juffernbruch and Jack Schroeder, the lottery’s vice president for systems and operations, ended employment with the state authority effective May 8. Both had worked for the lottery since 2010 and were paid yearly salaries of $109,033, she said.
Neubauer declined to comment further regarding the confidential personnel matter. She said the immediate departures were unrelated to the lottery’s move to a new corporate headquarters in the Des Moines metropolitan area or any reorganization and did not affect lottery operations.
Neubauer anticipated the vacant management positions would be posted within the next couple weeks.
