LINN COUNTY, Iowa — The Linn County Sheriff’s Office responded to a head-on collision involving two cars in the 2400 block of Paris Road near Central City at 11:39 p.m. Thursday.

When they arrived at the scene, deputies found two cars with significant damage and four injured teenagers. All four were transported to Cedar Rapids hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.

Deputies say 37-year-old Lori Wolf was traveling westbound on the road when she crossed over into the eastbound lane as she was cresting a small hill. She hit the vehicle driven by 18-year-old Allison Zumbach, injuring Zumbach and her three passengers.

Deputies say Wolf actually left the scene of the crash before law enforcement arrived at the scene. The Linn County Sheriff’s Office says charges are pending and it continues to investigate this crash.
