Five Democrats Vying for Nomination in First District Primary

It’s a crowded field for the 1st District congressional seat. Eight candidates are hoping to make it passed the June 3rd primary. On Wednesday we introduced you to the three Republican Candidates. Now we take a closer look at the five democrats in the race. The five democrats hoping to win their party’s nomination next week include: Swati Dandekar, Anesa Kajtazovic, Pat Murphy, Dave O’Brien, and Monica Vernon. There are some issues which the candidates seem to agree on like raising the minimum wage and pay equality. But with such a crowded field heading into the primary, we wanted to find out what it is that sets them apart. Watch the video link above to hear their answers.
