Emergency Workers Take Unresponsive Four-Year-Old Child to UIHC

    WATERLOO, Iowa - A 4-year-old boy is at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics after becoming unresponsive while playing at Thorp Family Fun in Waterloo. Emergency workers responded to Thorp Family Fun at 2720 Lackland at 12:03 p.m. Saturday where they found the toddler not breathing. He was first taken to a Waterloo hospital and then flown to UIHC for further care. His name has not been released and Waterloo Police continue to investigate the incident.
