DUBUQUE, Iowa — After being shot, and refusing treatment, a Dubuque man left the hospital with a bullet still inside him.

About 2:30 Saturday morning, Dubuque police were called to a disturbance in the 1400 block of Bluff Street. En route police took another call reporting shots had been fired.

On arrival, authorities found 20-year-old Thomas Grant shot in the wrist. An ambulance took him to a Dubuque hospital.

Police say Grant was uncooperative and walked out of the hospital with the bullet still in his wrist.

No arrests have been made.

The case still is under investigation.
