Curling’s First Cedar-Spiel

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Curlers are in Cedar Rapids for the Cedar Rapids Curling Club’s first-ever bonspiel, called Cedar-Spiel.

The curling tournament pits teams from 13 states against each other on the ice. The even showcases the sport and opportunities to get involved in Cedar Rapids.

The Cedar-spiel is free to spectators at the Cedar Rapids Ice Arena. Matches run from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm on Saturday. The semi-finals start at 9:00 am Sunday with the finals at 11:00 am and an open house to follow.
