Agribusiness Report: May 9

DES MOINES, Iowa - Only 23% of Iowa’s corn crop was planted at the beginning of this week. But, farmers across the state say they’ve been taking advantage of recent warm and dry weather to avoid losing yield.

A new World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates Report from the USDA could shake up both the corn and soybean markets. But, local analysts say a recent crop progress report could have more of an impact.
