DES MOINES, Iowa — On the June 11 Agribusiness Report: President Obama recently signed the Water Resources Reform and Development Act into law. The bipartisan effort provides funds to boost flood protection and fix inland waterway systems, including replacing some of the Locks and Dams located along the Mississippi River.
Heavy rainfall last week flooded some emerging corn in the Midwest. But unlike in years past, most of Iowa is doing fine. However, another drought still isn’t out of the cards.
