Iowa All-American guard Devyn Marble showed his skills in front of NBA scouts at the draft combine in Chicago on Thursday.
Marble is looking to become the first Iowa basketball player drafted since 2007.
“He can play a number of different positions,” Coach Fran McCaffery told ESPN at the combine. “Particulary the point guard position at his size, and that’s something that’s excited a lot of NBA people. He can score the ball, he’s a very underrated defender, tough kid, a great late-game player, and incredibly cerebral. I think when you put it all together, he’s going to be in the league for a long time.”
