Cedar Rapids native Ryan Sweeney had the hot bat on Sunday for the Chicago Cubs in their game versus the New York Mets.

Sweeney started in left field and batted 4th in the lineup and he didn't disappoint. He went 2 for 3 which includes a solo home run in the sixth inning, it's his first home run of the season. However, the Cubs still lost 4-3.

Sweeney is now batting .333 for the Cubs.
