CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - There is one new face among the Metro high school football coaches this fall. It belongs to Mike Morrissey who is taking over the reigns at Cedar Rapids Prairie.

Morrissey comes from coaching stock. His dad was the long time coach at Pleasant Valley. Mike started going to practices and games at a very young age and thinks he was rather destined to get into coaching.

He and the Prairie Hawks debut Friday night on their new field against Cedar Rapids Washington.
