Thornburg-More than half of the high schools in Iowa will sport FFF decals on their helmets this season. One of those schools is Tri-County, the school where Ed Thomas played quarterback. Before handing out the decals on Wednesday, T-C Coach Scott Edmundson talked to his players about the meaning of the decals and challenged his players to live by those ideals.

The Faith, Family, Football decals are designed to honor Thomas who was gunned down earlier this summer. They are a joint project of the Iowa Football Coaches Association and the IHSAA.
