Cedar Rapids- With two out in the 7th, Morgan Allee delivered the game winner for 3rd ranked Cedar Rapids Jefferson in regional softball final Wednesday night. Allee drove the ball to left and Amanda Burger raced home from second base for the 3-2 victory over Kennedy and trip to the state tournament.

Top ranked Clear Creek Amana kept it's record perfect with a 6-0 win over Washington.

Meanwhile, #12 Mt Vernon watched a 6-0 lead disappear before beating #6 Davenport Assumption 7-6 Wednesday night. The Mustangs earn their first trip ever to the state softball tournament in Fort Dodge.
