After Thomas' Death A-P Moves Forward, Hires Co-Head Coaches

PARKERSBURG - Its going to take a long time for Aplington Parkersburg to recover from the shooting death of football Coach Ed Thomas.
Today the school took the first step on the field.
Al Kerns and Jon Weigmann have been named Co-Head Coaches. Both were assistants for many years under Thomas.
Kerns will run the offense while Wiegmann will be in charge of the defense.
The season begins in just 2 months.
