Panthers Defeat Dubuque In Exhibition Game

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa - The University of Northern Iowa men's basketball capped its exhibition play with an 85-66 win over the University of Dubuque Spartans.

UNI was led by junior forward Seth Tuttle's game-high 21 points and 15 rebounds. The Panthers had four players reach double figures in scoring with Tuttle (21), Wes Washpun (18), Deon Mitchell (13) and Chip Rank (10).

UNI buried 32-of-48 free throws in the game, while Dubuque made 17-of-27 at the line. The contest featured 52 fouls between the two squads.

UNI will open its regular season Saturday at Ohio. Tip is slated for 1 p.m. (Central).
