CEDAR FALLS, Iowa (AP) - Northern Iowa has brought back assistant coach Kyle Green for a third stint with the Panthers.

Coach Ben Jacobson says Green is returning to Northern Iowa as an assistant and as its recruiting coordinator.

Green spent last season as the head coach at Division III Wisconsin Eau-Claire, guiding the team to a 15-10 record.

Green worked for the Panthers from 2001-03 before leaving for Marquette. He came back to Northern Iowa in 2006 and stayed for six seasons.
