SAN FRANCISCO - Webb Simpson came from 4 shots back to win the US Open on Sunday, holding off Graeme McDowell and Michael Thompson by 1 shot.

Simpson shot a final round 68 and finished at plus 1 for the tournament.

Cedar Rapids native Zach Johnson shot a 73 on Sunday and finished at 11-over.
Tiger Woods was never a factor. Woods also fired a final round 73 and finished plus 7.
