CEDAR FALLS, Iowa -- It's been a great season for the Washington Demons. But they ran into a buzz saw on Thursday night in the 3A title game against Sioux City Heelan.

Washington gave up just 93 points in the regular season, but its defense was tested tonight. An 80-yard bomb put Heelan on the board first.

The Crusaders used an aerial attack to take a big halftime lead, and cruised to a 47-14 win.
